They don’t make those for traditionally built women.

How often have you thought, “I’d love to have one of those, but they don’t come in my size.” Followed by a deep sigh and random thoughts running through your head, telling you, “you’re not good enough, rich enough, or even skinny enough to be loved.”
That’s how it starts – with a culture which values an unreachable, almost unexplainable, perfect shape/size/look/aesthetic. What does that even have to do with reality? If you quit looking on social media, television and even movies, you’ll see that 8 out of 10 women are traditionally built. And I bet those other 2 have had a little work done. I choose to love the me I am and be happy - happy I am traditionally built. My husband says I provide good shade in the hot summer months and a good wind break in the cold winter.
I’m not sure when we decided perfection was the ideal, and the perfect woman was supposed to have no butt and legs that went from her shoulders to the ground. What kind of vision is that? Well, maybe the clothing hangs straight, no curves to interrupt the “flow” of the fabric.
Regardless, perfection in physical form or any other form is not our friend. Like ever, and comparison is a joy thief. In our journey together we’re going to connect with who we are, who we are not and map the road to get to that place of being and loving our best selves.
Beautiful photo of a STUNNING woman. You are a goldmine all in and of yourself. One that never stops giving. I'm continually discovering new treasures in you.
What a thrill it is to see your website up and running. Now others can follow in your mining boots.
